A tour directed at Lawn Bowls Clubs but aimed at bowlers, their partners, families and friends – a visit to South Africa to experience the exceptional beauty, diverse culture and warmth of the country.
An Unforgettable 12 Night, 13 day experience that encompasses…
- International Flights (Outbound: London — Johannesburg & Return:
Cape Town — London). - Local Flights (Johannesburg – Cape Town).
- All transfers and excursion fees (as per detailed itinerary).
- 12 Nights luxury accommodation, breakfasts and other meals as specified in the itinerary.
- 3 Days in the City of Gold, Johannesburg – Nelson Mandela Square, Melrose Arch / MonteCasino, full use of the facilities at the internationally renowned Wanderers Club, etc.
- 3 Days at a Big 5 Game Lodge, experiencing the magnificence of Africa, ‘in the wild’ with amazing sightings and photographic opportunities – hopefully including the Big 5.
- 7 Days enjoying the ‘Mother City’, Cape Town – Visiting a Wine Estate (tour and wine tasting), Table Mountain, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and numerous destinations along the Cape Peninsula Tour (Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Cape of Good Hope and Simonstown).
- 4 Games of Lawn Bowls are planned – 2 in Johannesburg at The Wanderers Club and 2 in and around the Cape Town area (including a late afternoon game of ‘twilight bowls’). Should the bowlers in the party wish, more games can be arranged. The use of bowls can also be arranged negating the need to bring your own bowls on the trip.
